12-Month Senior Accountant Contract

Location: West Vancouver

We are hiring a Senior Accountant for a 12-month contract position. This role involves full-cycle accounting, IFRS compliance, and preparing consolidated financial reports.

As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for various accounting functions, including preparation and analysis of financial statements, project accounting, and mentoring junior staff. Your strong analytical abilities and attention to detail will support effective financial decision-making within the organization. Excellent communication skills will aid collaboration with cross-functional teams and external partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle full-cycle accounting for multiple entities

• Ensure timely preparation of financial reports and statements

• Analyze financial performance data for decision support

• Develop accounting policies to ensure accuracy and compliance

• Support audits and reconciliation processes with external auditors

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

• CPA designation required

• 4+ years of experience in full-cycle accounting

• Strong IFRS knowledge and project accounting skills

• Proficient with accounting software and MS Office
