Financial Controller

Position: Dynamic Financial Controller Role
Take charge of financial management at DNA in North Vancouver as a Financial Controller. This position prioritizes strong financial reporting and team support in a collaborative environment.

In this role, you will lead all financial operations within a focused and supportive team. Your responsibilities include managing budgets, closing books, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. You will also coach and develop staff, foster efficient financial procedures, and provide critical insights for project managers and leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver accurate monthly financial analysis and statements

• Manage cash flow and oversee billing collections

• Ensure payroll accuracy and compliance for semi-monthly cycles

• Support accounting staff, promoting timely completion of tasks

• Enhance overall financial processes to boost effectiveness

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• CPA designation essential

• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience

• Leadership experience in supervising accounting teams preferred

• Advanced skills in Excel and familiarity with project ERP systems
