Woodfibre Management Ltd. seeks an experienced Cost Specialist for the LNG Project near Squamish, British Columbia. Your expertise in T&M contracts will be vital for ensuring financial integrity and cost tracking.

In this critical role, you will be responsible for reviewing subcontractor costs and validating cost submissions, ensuring they align with contract terms. You will engage with various project teams to monitor financial performance and support budget tracking efforts. Applicants should possess a strong background in construction cost norms and demonstrate excellent analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze subcontractor cost submissions for accuracy

• Track committed and actual costs against budgets

• Validate invoices and compliance with contracts

• Prepare regular cost reports for all stakeholders

• Collaborate with teams to enhance cost management practices

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field

• Minimum 5 years of experience in cost engineering

• Knowledge of Canadian cost standards

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and related tools

• Strong communication and organizational skills
