Shack Shine is looking for a Field Operations Manager to join our growing team! As part of the Field Operations department, you will help existing Franchise Partners reach operational excellence. The incumbent will assist, guide, and coach existing Franchise Partners in driving all aspects of their business—including sales and marketing, strategic business planning, support & development, scaling, etc.
We are looking for someone with high business acumen and franchise experience who can travel up to 50% as needed. Shack Shine is an exciting, fast-growing house detailing franchise that is part of O2E Brands, the parent company of the hugely successful 1‑800‑GOT‑JUNK? franchise.
We have created a hybrid work model that allows us to collaborate, celebrate, and connect while providing flexibility. For this role, you will be in the office about 25% of the time.
A DAY IN THE LIFE- Accountable for driving overall top‑line revenue growth for your portfolio of Franchise Partners.
- Lead consistent and effective Goal Setting & Review (GS&R) for your Franchise Partners.
- Assist Field Operations teams in identifying key KPIs to be used for annual goal setting and implementation of key brand initiatives, processes, and projects as determined in the annual strategy planning process.
- Partner and build long‑term relationships with Franchise Partners and identify business growth opportunities.
- Implement programs and promotions in support of department objectives.
- Provide monthly and quarterly reviews covering system performance.
- Conduct an annual business strategy session with Franchise Partners to develop their business plan and long‑term goals.
- Conduct regular field visits to each Franchise Partner.
- Provide guidance to team members to professionally handle customer needs and coach brand compliance to maintain consistency throughout the system.
- Must be independent and self‑motivated and able to travel up to 50%.
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Business, Business Administration, or a similar discipline; a strong asset.
- 5+ years of experience as a Field Operations Manager—or similar—within a service‑oriented, franchise environment.
- Proven business operations experience with a track record of impacting and implementing best practices.
- High‑level business acumen, including planning, forecasting, and analysis skills.
- Strong leadership abilities in partnering with multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to achieve goals through direct and indirect influence and collaboration.
- Strategic thinking and strong business acumen to help develop a vision for the portfolio.
- Mindset of a coach, thinker, and doer, with high adaptability.
- High‑level growth‑coaching aptitude with ability to reverse complacency and plan strategically.
- Administrative and people skills, including business planning and analysis.
- Clear and concise communication skills.
- Competence at reviewing metrics and interpreting performance indicators.
- Salary $80,000 to $90,000 per annum (actual salary offered will be commensurate with education, experience, and internal parity).
