VP Foundations is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our team in North Vancouver. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys being both in the field and in the office
, supporting project execution from start to finish.
At VP Foundations, you won’t just be supporting projects—you’ll be building communities, gaining real-world experience, and working alongside experienced industry professionals
.
- Review and interpret project drawings, plans, and specifications to support execution
- Assist in preparing cost estimates, budgets, and construction schedules
- Support field operations by providing technical guidance and construction best practices
- Track and monitor project costs, performance, and financial reporting
- Establish and maintain project cost codes and documentation
- Assist with subcontractor coordination, procurement, and documentation
- Maintain accurate project records, reporting, and document control
- 5+ years of experience in heavy civil, foundation, or construction projects
- Degree in Engineering or Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology
- Strong understanding of cost control, estimating, and project planning
- Proficiency in Excel, AutoCAD, MS Project
, and Microsoft Office tools - Knowledge of construction methods, safety standards, and industry practices
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Excellent problem-solving, organization, and time management abilities
- A proactive mindset with a strong desire to learn, grow, and contribute
- Project scheduling and planning (
MS Project or Primavera
) - Cost estimation and budget tracking
- Document control and reporting
- Strong analytical and attention-to-detail skills
- Effective communication and teamwork
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, field-driven environment
Salary Range: $75,000 – $95,000 per year
The final salary will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity, in alignment with Carlson Construction Group’s compensation practices.
