Contract Administrator
Help Us Launch One of Carlson’s Newest Projects from Day One
The Role

Carlson Construction Group is looking for a Contract Administrator to support one of our newest projects launching in North Vancouver. This role is ideal for a proactive self-starter who is excited about building processes from the ground up and becoming a trusted commercial support partner to the project team.
This is your opportunity to join a project at its earliest stage, contribute to shaping how it operates, and ensure strong commercial and contractual performance throughout.
Term: 12-month Fixed Term Contract
What You’ll Be Doing
Contract Administration & Support
Review, interpret, and administer a variety of contracts (subcontracts, service agreements, NDAs, and procurement contracts)
Assist with contract drafting, revisions, and maintaining standardized templates
Support the project team with contract execution and administration throughout the lifecycle
Track tender opportunities and key submission deadlines
Maintain logs of active, pending, and awarded contracts, including milestones and deliverables
Document Control
Maintain organized and audit-ready contract documentation
Ensure strong version control and easy retrieval of commercial records
Insurance & Bonding
Coordinate insurance and bonding requirements for projects
Track renewals and ensure compliance with contractual obligations
Administrative & Stakeholder Support
Support contract negotiations and communication with internal and external stakeholders
Prepare reports, summaries, and updates for project leadership
Assist in resolving contractual issues and supporting claims/disputes as needed
Compliance & Risk Management
Monitor compliance with contractual requirements and company policies
Identify risks early and elevate appropriately
Support mitigation strategies and resolution plans
Process Improvement
Help develop and refine contract administration processes for a new project site
Enhance templates, workflows, and documentation practices
Who You Are
You are detail-oriented, organized, and dependable—someone who takes ownership and keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes.
Qualifications
3–5+ years of contract administration experience, preferably in construction
Familiarity with CCDC, CCA, and service agreements
Understanding of contract terms, insurance, bonding, and compliance requirements
Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Collaborative mindset with strong stakeholder relationship skills
Proactive problem-solver with high attention to detail
