Carlson Construction Group is seeking an accomplished and highly experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a strategic, hands‑on construction leader to oversee complex heavy civil and marine construction projects while contributing to the continued growth and innovation of one of British Columbia's most respected construction organizations.
As a Senior Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving project success from conception through completion. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, foster strong client relationships, and deliver projects safely, efficiently, and profitably. What You’ll DoAs a key member of our Operations team, you will:
- Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of complex heavy civil and marine construction projects.
- Plan, organize, direct, and control all phases of project operations.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize project schedules to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and within budget.
- Manage project financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, profitability, and reporting.
- Prepare, negotiate, and administer contracts, subcontracts, change orders, and contractual revisions.
- Review and resolve contractual issues, including additions, deletions, claims, and dispute resolution.
- Collaborate with Project Administrators to oversee billing, accounts receivable, document control, and project reporting.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate the efficient deployment of personnel, equipment, materials, and project resources.
- Provide technical guidance and support for complex field operations and construction methodologies.
- Mentor and develop Project Managers, Project Coordinators, and emerging construction professionals.
- Support business development initiatives, client retention efforts, and strategic growth opportunities.
- Champion Carlson's commitment to Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality (HSEQ) excellence on every project.

Salary: $160 - $180k per annum
