Vancouver Pile Driving Ltd. (Van Pile) is looking for an organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Project Coordinator (Dispatch & Workforce Mobilization) to join our North Vancouver team.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys the fast-paced nature of construction operations and thrives on coordinating people, schedules, travel, and project logistics. You'll play a critical role in ensuring our crews are mobilized efficiently, work schedules are accurate, and projects are staffed with the right people at the right time.

Key Responsibilities- Coordinate the mobilization and demobilization of field personnel to project sites throughout British Columbia and other project locations
- Schedule and dispatch craft workers, operators, laborer's, and project personnel to meet operational requirements
- Maintain and update workforce schedules and crew assignments based on project needs
- Coordinate travel, accommodations, site access requirements, and orientation schedules for project personnel
- Track employee rotations, shift schedules, days off, and workforce availability
- Communicate schedule changes and staffing updates to field supervisors, project teams, and employees
- Maintain accurate workforce tracking, dispatch records, and personnel databases
- Support onboarding activities and ensure workers meet site-specific requirements before deployment
- Coordinate with Payroll, HR, Operations, and Project Teams regarding workforce planning and personnel movements
- Review and interpret project plans, specifications, and schedules to support project execution
- Assist project teams with planning, scheduling, and resource allocation
- Prepare and maintain construction schedules and manpower forecasts
- Monitor project costing, productivity tracking, and project reporting
- Establish and maintain project cost codes
- Assist with subcontractor coordination and project documentation
- Support field teams by providing timely information and logistical support
- Coordinate project meetings, action items, and follow-up activities
- Maintain workforce utilization reports and manpower forecasts
- Track project staffing requirements and upcoming workforce needs
- Support project reporting and document control processes
- Prepare reports for project managers and operational leadership
- Ensure records remain current, accurate, and audit-ready
- 5+ years of experience in construction project coordination, workforce dispatch, crew scheduling, workforce planning, or a related role
- Experience coordinating personnel mobilization, rotations, camp logistics, and workforce scheduling in construction, industrial, marine, mining, or infrastructure environments
- Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field, or Diploma in Civil Technology or equivalent experience
