Utilities Construction Labourer - Full Time

Join the District of West Vancouver as a temporary full-time Labourer in Utilities Construction. Help maintain essential water, sewer, and storm systems while working in a dynamic outdoor environment.

This position requires dedication and hard work within a supportive team in West Vancouver. The Labourer will perform manual tasks related to utilities construction, including locating leaks, maintaining equipment, and operating various tools. Strong candidates will demonstrate a commitment to safety and teamwork while navigating physical challenges outdoors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform construction tasks for utility systems

• Locate and repair leaks in utilities

• Maintain equipment and keep it clean

• Operate hand and power tools safely

• Assist on various labour assignments as needed

Requirements:

• Valid BC Class 5 Driver's License required

• Experience in utilities construction preferred

• EOCP Certification is an asset

• Ability to work effectively in all weather conditions

• Strong focus on team collaboration and safety
