Carlson Construction Group is seeking an accomplished and highly experienced Project Manager to join our team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a strategic, hands-on construction leader to oversee complex heavy civil and marine construction projects while contributing to the continued growth and innovation of one of British Columbia's most respected construction organizations.

As a key member of our Operations team, you will:

• Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of complex heavy civil and marine construction projects.
• Plan, organize, direct, and control all phases of project operations.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize project schedules to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and within budget.
• Manage project financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, profitability, and reporting.
• Prepare, negotiate, and administer contracts, subcontracts, change orders, and contractual revisions.
• Review and resolve contractual issues, including additions, deletions, claims, and dispute resolution.
• Collaborate with Project Administrators to oversee billing, accounts receivable, document control, and project reporting.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate the efficient deployment of personnel, equipment, materials, and project resources.
• Provide technical guidance and support for complex field operations and construction methodologies.
• Mentor and develop Project Coordinators and emerging construction professionals.
• Support business development initiatives, client retention efforts, and strategic growth opportunities.
• Champion Carlson's commitment to Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality (HSEQ) excellence on every project.

• Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Registered, or eligible for registration, with Engineers and Geoscientists BC (EGBC) or ASTTBC.
• Minimum of 5-8+ years of progressive project management experience
  , including significant experience leading heavy civil, marine, or infrastructure projects.
• Strong working knowledge of:
• Heavy civil construction methods and practices
• Marine construction operations
• Cranes, barges, marine equipment, and related logistics
• Proven success managing subcontractors, suppliers, vendors, and multidisciplinary project teams.
