This position is essential to providing quality public service in West Vancouver and lasts for approximately 12 months. As the Information Desk Clerk, you will handle reception duties, operate the switchboard, and offer support across multiple departments. Ideal candidates are customer-oriented, detail-focused, and thrive in a community-centered environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate central switchboard and provide reception services

• Respond to public inquiries through various channels

• Schedule courier requests for Municipal Hall deliveries

• Maintain filing, record keeping, and supply orders

• Process payments accurately and handle finance-related inquiries

Requirements:

• Completion of 12th grade with standard commercial courses

• Experience in office work and switchboard operation

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Ability to balance financial transactions accurately

• Police Information Check must be provided
