Position: Part-Time French Immersion Teacher Role

Ecole Pauline Johnson Elementary seeks a part-time French Immersion Teacher to inspire intermediate students starting September 8, 2026. This position supports literacy, numeracy, and innovative teaching practices in a collaborative setting.
In this 0.2 FTE role, you will engage with students to implement the BC French Immersion Curriculum. Your focus will be on fostering a diverse and inclusive classroom environment while utilizing a broad range of teaching strategies that accommodate various learning styles. As an educator, your input will be vital in enhancing ADST and AI initiatives.

• Implement French Immersion BC Curriculum in the classroom

• Enhance student literacy and numeracy through effective methods

• Encourage innovative practices within the curriculum

• Create a caring, empathetic learning atmosphere

• Partner with school teams to enrich educational offerings
Requirements:

• Fluency in both French and English

• Proven French Immersion teaching experience

• Capacity for differentiated instruction

• Knowledge of First People's educational principles

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
