Join Ecole Pauline Johnson Elementary as a part-time French Immersion Teacher starting September 8, 2026. This role focuses on delivering the BC Curriculum while promoting literacy and numeracy in both French and English.

This 0.2 FTE position requires a passionate educator with in-depth knowledge of the French Immersion program. You’ll support students through an emphasis on equity and inclusivity, leveraging innovative strategies to enhance classroom engagement and learning outcomes. Your understanding of First People's Principles will guide your teaching approach.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach and implement the French Immersion curriculum

• Support literacy and numeracy enhancement

• Foster innovative learning strategies in ADST and AI

• Build a safe and inclusive classroom environment

• Collaborate with staff to create engaging educational experiences

Requirements:

• Fluent in spoken and written French and English

• Experience with BC French Immersion curriculum

• Strong communication skills in educational contexts
