The full-time role at Squamish Elementary School spans from September 8, 2026, to June 30, 2027. Ideal candidates will hold a valid B.C. Teaching Certificate and have the requisite university training along with successful teaching experience in Early French Immersion. You will actively participate in teacher learning teams and guide students in recognizing their strengths and opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop inclusive curricula tailored for diverse learners

• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices

• Mentor students in their career-life reflections

• Use technology for class organization and communication

• Support district goals through the Four Blankets of Resilience

Requirements:

• Valid B.C. Teaching Certificate

• Relevant university training in Early Primary and French Immersion

• Successful experience in Early French Immersion instruction

• Awareness of BC Student Performance Standards

• Strong oral and written proficiency in French
