Position: Physical Education Teacher for Grades 2-8
The Vancouver Waldorf School is inviting applications for a part-time Physical Education Teacher for Grades 2-8 in North Vancouver. Teaching days will be on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Education and possess a BC Teaching Certificate or the eligibility to obtain one.

Experience with Waldorf Education and Spacial Dynamics is strongly preferred. The teacher will prepare lesson plans aligned with both Waldorf and provincial standards, catering to a variety of student abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and implement Waldorf-based PE lesson plans

• Assess student progress and prepare reports

• Coordinate facility bookings with North Van Recreation Centre

• Attend faculty meetings and participate in committees

• Engage in ongoing professional development

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education

• BC Teaching Certificate or ability to secure certification

• Knowledge of Waldorf Education

• Understanding of Spacial Dynamics movement theory

• Flexible schedule for teaching days
