Position: French Immersion Teachers for On-Call Roles

School District No. 48 (Sea to Sky) is seeking French Immersion teachers to work on-call. This is your chance to make an impact in Squamish, Whistler, and Pemberton.

Ideal candidates will demonstrate successful teaching experience and have a solid grasp of French Immersion instruction. You will integrate technology into your lessons while fostering a collaborative environment among students. This role requires flexibility, with a need for a minimum of four shifts worked each week, ensuring every student learns in a supportive setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Co-plan and co-teach in inclusive settings

• Utilize various technologies for classroom management

• Guide students in reflecting on their strengths

• Contribute to the educational goals of the district

• Collaborate on interdisciplinary projects in teaching teams

Requirements:

• Must hold a valid B.C. Teaching Certificate

• Bilingual skills required for French Immersion

• Availability for at least four days a week

• Familiarity with BC curriculum standards

• Past successful teaching experience essential
