Position: Language Curriculum Developer at Squamish Nation
Become a vital part of the Squamish Nation's Language and Cultural Affairs team as a Curriculum Developer. Focus on enhancing Indigenous language education and cultural resources.

In this role, you will leverage your Bachelor's Degree in Education and 5–6 years of experience in curriculum development. Your responsibilities will encompass the creation of valuable educational materials and collaboration with community Knowledge Keepers. You will also assess curriculum gaps and recommend improvements aligned with cultural priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write and adapt curriculum for diverse educational programs

• Engage with community members and educators

• Analyze curriculum needs and propose enhancements

• Develop engaging resources for K–12 learners

• Facilitate occasional teaching and student evaluation

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Curriculum Development, or related field

• 5–6 years of relevant teaching or writing experience

• Proficient in curriculum design and instructional practices

• Squamish Language and Culture Certificate preferred

• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
