We are looking for a seasoned professional with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and 5–6 years of experience in developing curricula or teaching. You'll work closely with Elders and educators to weave community cultural values into the curriculum. Your creative efforts will support engaging materials for K–12 learners and uphold the community’s identity.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and adjust cultural curriculum for various educational settings
• Collaborate actively with community and educational stakeholders
• Research curriculum needs based on field engagement
• Produce engaging learning resources and activities
• Participate in strategic planning for language initiatives
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Education or relevant field
• 5–6 years of curriculum development or teaching experience
• Strong writing and research skills
• Knowledge of Squamish culture and language preferred
• Proficient in managing multiple projects
