Inspire the next generation as a Physical Education teacher at Sentinel Secondary School. Deliver engaging PE classes for grades 9-10 while integrating technology into your curriculum.
This part-time role (0.375 FTE) starts immediately and runs through June 30th, 2026. Applicants must possess a valid BC Teaching Certificate and experience in teaching Physical Education. You will leverage communication skills and innovative teaching strategies to meet varied learner needs and foster a collaborative learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver PE instruction for students in grades 9-10
• Incorporate technology effectively into lessons
• Adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learners
• Cultivate a supportive and organized classroom setting
• Collaborate effectively with fellow educators
Requirements:
• Holding a valid BC Teaching Certificate is a must
• Evidence of teaching experience in Physical Education
• Strong communicator with students and fellow staff
• Knowledge of Ministry of Education standards
• Commitment to inquiry-based curriculum implementation
