The Vancouver Waldorf School seeks a full-time French teacher (0.9 FTE) for its Grade 1-8 French program. This position demands university-level French credentials along with the ability to secure a BC Teaching Certificate. Previous experience in Waldorf education is preferred, emphasizing inclusive teaching methods for various student needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop lesson plans aligned with Waldorf and BC curriculum

• Supervise students during recess and foster social development

• Engage in committee work and faculty meetings

• Actively participate in professional development initiatives

• Write student reports and conduct parent meetings

Requirements:

• Hold or be eligible for a BC Teacher Certification

• Preferred teaching experience of 5 years or more

• Exposure to Waldorf teaching practices is beneficial
