Hatfield is hiring a full-time Mine Permitting Specialist for our Water Resource Group, with a focus on BC mining regulations. A strong background in environmental legislation and permitting processes is essential to guide clients effectively. This position offers the opportunity to work with interdisciplinary teams on projects that have significant environmental impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide guidance on permitting and regulatory compliance

• Recommend strategies for efficient environmental permitting

• Coordinate multidisciplinary team inputs

• Review regulatory materials to ensure compliance

• Support client presentations and stakeholder meetings

Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree or higher in a relevant field

• At least 3 years in mining project compliance

• Experience managing multidisciplinary environmental projects

• Valid Canadian driver’s license

• Flexibility to adapt in a dynamic consulting environment
