Electrical Project Engineer at Woodfibre LNG

Drive large-scale LNG projects with Woodfibre LNG as an Electrical Project Engineer. This fully site-based role focuses on high voltage design and construction management at our Squamish facility.

Woodfibre LNG Limited is looking for a dedicated Electrical Project Engineer to lead electrical activities on-site. In this critical role, you will leverage your engineering expertise in high voltage systems, installation, and testing to oversee contractors and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Your leadership will play a vital role in the success of the LNG export facility project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate EPC contractor field construction activities

• Supervise testing activities and ensure project compliance

• Monitor project schedules and cost efficiency

• Review design scope for constructability and recommend changes

• Lead safety culture initiatives and site procedures

Requirements:

• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Electrical Engineering

• 5-10 years in oil and gas or heavy industrial construction

• Experience with high voltage electrical systems

• Familiarity with construction permits and site safety

• Strong organizational and communication skills
