This internship is tailored for students in their 3rd or 4th year of a technical engineering program. With a full-time commitment, you will enhance your understanding of production planning and manufacturing, handling real-world challenges within the shipbuilding sector. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to bring innovative solutions to life.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review engineering drawings with attention to detail
• Update and maintain shop orders and production schedules
• Apply inventory management principles effectively
• Use ERP and document control systems proficiently
• Communicate with various stakeholders for clarity
Requirements:
• Enrollment in technical (Manufacturing/Mechanical) engineering program
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Familiarity with CAD software tools an asset
• Ability to work independently and in teams
• Problem-solving skills for process improvement
