This internship offers a groundbreaking opportunity to participate in projects under the National Shipbuilding Strategy. The position requires candidates who are pursuing a Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Marine Engineering and showcases production engineering and planning skills. You'll support production activities, analyze processes, and engage in continuous improvement initiatives within the shipyard.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in developing vessel build strategies
• Participate in production planning analysis
• Help create work packages and documentation
• Conduct constructability assessments
• Support data analysis related to production
Requirements:
• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from Bachelor’s program
• Previous experience in manufacturing or shipbuilding is a plus
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Adaptability in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with CAD software and ERP systems is an asset
