Engineering Co-op in Climate Solutions

Make a difference at Carbon Engineering as a Process Systems Engineering Co-op in Squamish, BC. This role focuses on integrating automation and data processes to support innovative climate change technologies.
As a co-op student, you'll report to the Senior Systems Engineer and work with the Process Systems Engineering team on projects that aim to enhance data analytics and automation capabilities. The position lasts for at least 8 months and requires on-site work. You will gain valuable experience while contributing to significant environmental solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the adoption and support of data-driven applications

• Improve implementation of process metrics and diagnostics

• Participate in testing and developing advanced process controls

• Validate and maintain asset templates for functional clarity

• Conduct simulations and refine control strategies
Requirements:

• Pursuing a degree in Chemical Engineering or related fields

• Strong knowledge of Python and technical computing

• Familiarity with industry tools like OSI-PI beneficial

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Highly motivated and eager to learn
