As a Planner II, you will engage in all phases of new construction projects, utilizing your process engineering expertise to improve productivity and reduce waste.
Your role involves guiding teams, analyzing pre-production strategies, and fostering an environment of growth and innovation among engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and analyze engineering and procurement strategies
• Implement process improvements in shipbuilding
• Conduct thorough pre-production process evaluations
• Keep abreast of industry innovations and best practices
• Mentor and train engineers for team effectiveness
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field preferred
• 2-4 years in planning or related engineering role
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings effectively
• Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
