Shipboard Test Specialist at Seaspan

Reporting to the Director of Test & Trials, you'll collaborate with a dedicated team to execute commissioning activities for new build vessels. Key responsibilities include developing commissioning paths, conducting system inspections, and supporting operational safety measures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute commissioning and testing of shipboard systems

• Collaborate with teams to meet project schedules

• Define and refine commissioning pathways

• Conduct inspections following approved drawings

• Identify and report defects during testing phases

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Marine, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering

• Minimum 5 years in shipbuilding or related fields

• Familiarity with shipboard systems and safety operations

• Strong communication and analytical skills

• Ability to handle multiple activities effectively
