Become an Automation Systems Specialist at Woodfibre LNG in Squamish, BC. This pivotal role ensures the reliability of ICSS and oversight of automation systems.
In this role, you will report to the Electrical & Instrumentation Maintenance Supervisor, working directly with operations and engineering teams. Your expertise in DCS/PLC systems will facilitate smooth operations and drive continuous improvement initiatives, making a direct impact on the facility's efficiency and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure operational integrity of automation systems
• Provide troubleshooting support during all phases of operation
• Execute approved changes in control systems per protocols
• Maintain and enhance automation networks and servers
• Collaborate across departments to resolve automation issues
Requirements:
• 10+ years of experience in plant automation
• Technical background in Automation or related fields
• Familiarity with Yokogawa ICSS preferred
• Effective communication skills across all levels of staff
• Legally entitled to work in Canada and possess a driver's license
