Position: Senior Estimator with Maritime Focus
Carlson Construction Group is seeking a skilled Senior Estimator to lead complex marine, piling, and heavy civil projects. Utilize your 8+ years of experience to manage tenders and elevate our estimating precision and competitiveness.

In this senior role, you’ll handle multiple bids, evaluate risks, and assist in procurement processes, contributing to successful project delivery in British Columbia's marine infrastructure sector. Your expertise will also support the development of junior estimators and promote effective teamwork within the estimating department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the bidding process ensuring accuracy and timely submissions

• Review tender documents for risks and constructability

• Develop risk assessments and contingency plans

• Coordinate and clarify subcontractor pricing

• Mentor junior estimators for professional growth

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering or related field

• 8+ years of estimating experience in relevant constructions

• Familiarity with Heavy Bid software

• Advanced skills in Excel, AutoCAD, MS Project

• Strong leadership and critical-thinking abilities
