Environmental Lead in Squamish, BC

Location: squamish

Become an Environmental Lead at Woodfibre LNG on a 14/7 schedule, ensuring top compliance with environmental regulations. Your contributions will promote environmental awareness and responsibility across project teams.
In this significant role, you will collaborate closely with project managers and the Regional Environmental Manager. Your responsibilities include developing environmental management plans and carrying out compliance monitoring activities. Leading training efforts and fostering a culture of stewardship will be central to your position, as you work with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Report directly to project and environmental managers

• Develop and oversee permit applications and management plans

• Implement and monitor environmental compliance programs

• Deliver training sessions for project personnel

• Communicate with regulators and Indigenous groups on project impact
Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Geology, or related field

• 5+ years in a similar role within construction or infrastructure

• Registered Qualified Environmental Professional

• Expertise in environmental compliance systems

• Proficient in field techniques and data collection methods
