Position: Woodfibre LNG Permit to Work Specialist
Location: squamish

Drive operational safety at Woodfibre LNG as a Permit to Work Coordinator in Squamish, British Columbia.

Your role will balance permit management with critical safety oversight in an industrial environment.
In the Permit to Work Coordinator position, you will report to the Day Superintendent, and your primary focus will be ensuring the rigorous compliance of all work permits during construction and operations phases. With your extensive background, including 10 years in Oil & Gas production and 3 years specifically coordinating permits, you will play a key role in the transition to current electronic systems while maintaining oversight of health and safety strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the electronic Permit to Work System

• Manage daily permit issuances and associated documentation

• Ensure compliance with Lock Out Tag Out processes

• Conduct regular audits of permits for safety assurance

• Maintain Gas Tester training and equipment calibration
Requirements:

• Technical diploma in an oil/gas-related field

• 10+ years experience in Oil & Gas facilities

• Front-line communication and teamwork skills

• Previous work with electronic PTW systems

• Valid driver’s license and a right to work in Canada
