LNG Operations Technician in British Columbia

Woodfibre LNG seeks an Operations Technician Utilities focused on operational readiness and safety in their Squamish project. Contribute to sustainable LNG practices.
This key role within Woodfibre LNG’s Operations Team involves ensuring readiness for the facility's start-up and ongoing operations. You will collaborate with team members and departments to develop necessary documentation and support the maintenance strategy. A key aspect will be your commitment to environmental and safety standards throughout your shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Be part of the Operations Readiness Assurance team

• Develop and maintain operating procedures for safety

• Ensure plant reliability and equipment availability

• Generate shift reports and data accuracy

• Implement compliance checks alongside HSSE
Requirements:

• Requires High School Diploma

• 2-3 years of relevant utility operations experience

• 4th Class Power Engineering Certification may be pursued

• Experience supporting start-up operations preferred

• Strong communication skills are essential
