Lead engineering efforts at Bridgemans Services Group in Vancouver and Squamish, BC. As Chief Engineer, ensure safe operation and maintenance of passenger transfer vessel systems.

Seeking an experienced Chief Engineer to oversee the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems on our vessels. This rotational role requires strong leadership skills alongside technical expertise. Responsibilities include managing maintenance schedules, optimizing system performance, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee operation, maintenance, and repair of vessel machinery

• Optimize performance of propulsion and auxiliary systems

• Implement preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime

• Enforce safety compliance and conduct inspections

• Manage engineering budget and maintain inventory levels

Requirements:

• Second-Class Engineer certificate from Transport Canada

• Extensive experience as Chief/Second Engineer in marine settings

• Proficient in English, both written and verbal

• Strong computer literacy in engineering applications

• Ability to pass pre-employment drug tests
