Position: COWI Design Manager for Heavy Civil Structures
Drive impactful projects as the Design Manager at COWI, focusing on the Fraser River Tunnel Project. Manage design teams and ensure successful delivery of heavy civil structures.

Based in North Vancouver, you will lead a multidisciplinary team for the cut and cover tunnels, promoting effective collaboration with clients and independent reviewers.

Your role is pivotal in addressing project challenges and steering development on time and within budget, enhancing your project management expertise in the process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead design coordination for tunnels and structures

• Act as the liaison between clients and project teams

• Oversee progress reporting and budget compliance

• Facilitate design meetings for integrated communication

• Review and approve technical design documents

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Civil/Structural Engineering

• P.Eng. certification in British Columbia

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in heavy civil design

• Familiarity with Canadian codes and international standards

• Experience with BIM and project management
