Senior Project Engineer Water Services

Join the Water Services team as a Senior Project Engineer specializing in operations transmission at Metro Vancouver. Leverage your expertise in water hydraulics and project management to enhance water transmission systems.
In this full-time role based at the Seymour Capilano Filtration Plant, you will support the reliable delivery of drinking water to the region. Collaborating with more than 100 operators, your contributions will include optimizing projects and developing technical recommendations. Strong communication and technical problem-solving skills are essential for success in this key position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead optimization projects for water transmission systems

• Analyze requirements and recommend solutions

• Manage project budgets and control expenditures

• Prepare technical reports and project designs

• Supervise and guide engineering staff as needed
Requirements:

• Bachelor of Applied Science in engineering

• Minimum of 4 years’ relevant experience post-registration

• Proven project management and contract administration skills

• Excellent communication abilities

• Valid BC Class 5 Driver’s license
