About the jobKent is looking for an Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) Superintendent to lead I&C commissioning activities on the Woodfibre LNG Project in Squamish, British Columbia.
Skills and ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities
- Lead instrumentation, control, automation, and safety-system commissioning activities.
- Manage I&C Supervisors, technicians, contractors, and vendor representatives.
- Coordinate commissioning of field instrumentation, control valves, analyzers, DCS, SIS/ESD, F&G, PLC, and associated systems.
- Oversee loop checking, calibration, functional testing, cause-and-effect testing, logic verification, and integrated system testing.
- Coordinate I&C system turnover and commissioning priorities.
- Ensure control and safeguarding systems are ready to support equipment and process start-up.
- Coordinate I&C interfaces with Electrical, Mechanical, Process, Telecom, Package Vendors, and Operations.
- Manage system testing constraints and technical issues.
- Ensure configuration changes and field modifications are properly controlled and documented.
