Auxiliary Door Attendant

Join North Vancouver Recreation & Culture as an Auxiliary Door Attendant and deliver remarkable customer experiences at the theatre. Help maintain safety and satisfaction among audiences every shift.

As part of NVRC's dedicated staff, you will engage with community members and enhance theatre activities. Responsibilities include controlling crowds, ushering patrons, and selling concessions.

This role offers flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver outstanding customer assistance on theatre events

• Monitor audience safety and ensure compliance with rules

• Usher guests and direct them to their seats

• Collaborate in the concession area to sell merchandise

• Handle inquiries and provide supportive information to patrons

Requirements:

• LCB Serving It Right certification for concession assistance

• Relevant customer service experience is preferred

• Ability to handle payment transactions confidently

• First Aid certification is a plus for the position

• Completion of a Police Information Check mandatory before employment
