Intermediate Accountant

We are looking for an Intermediate Accountant to join our team in North Vancouver, British Columbia. This is a contract position designed to support our growing organization within the semi-conductors and electric components manufacturing industry. The role offers a dynamic work environment with opportunities to work on diverse accounting functions while collaborating with a close-knit team.

Responsibilities:

• Perform accounts receivable (AR) tasks, including billing, collections, and reconciliation of payments.

• Manage bank reconciliations and intercompany transfers between multiple entities.

• Oversee prepaids and accruals, ensuring accurate reporting and tracking.

• Provide backup support for accounts payable (AP) activities when required.

• Apply for and track government rebates, including follow-ups on collections.

• Utilize accounting software systems, such as Net Suite and Concur, to streamline processes.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate financial operations.

• Conduct variance analysis to support financial decision-making.

• Maintain a strong focus on cash management and AR-related tasks.

• Assist in implementing new technologies and systems to improve efficiency.
