Job Summary

The HCA/Caregiver is a valued member of the home care team who works under the supervision of the Care Coordinator and provides personal care and support services to meet each client’s individual needs in North Vancouver.

Qualicare Homecare is seeking compassionate, caring, and reliable individuals to join our team as Health Care Aides (HCAs) / Personal Support Workers (PSWs) / Caregivers. Qualicare Homecare BC is dedicated to improving the quality of life for our clients while providing peace of mind to their families. We are currently hiring Health Care Aides and Caregivers in North Vancouver to support clients in their homes.

• Assistance with personal care and hygiene
• Meal preparation

• Ambulation and safe transferring of clients
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Follow individualized care plans
• Complete required documentation and charting

• Health Care Aide Certificate or equivalent (foreign-trained nurse or nursing student accepted)
• Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Criminal Record Check (CRC) for the Vulnerable Sector (valid within 5 years or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to travel within North Vancouver and surrounding areas
• Access to internet and a smartphone with data
