Consultant

The Data Contractor supports audit engagement teams by executing data preparation, transformation, validation, and upload activities in Data.

The role is execution-focused and ticket-driven, operating within a centralized delivery model to ensure that audit teams receive accurate, complete, and timely datasets required for analytics procedures and reporting.

• Data Processing & Upload
• Transform client financial data (e.g., General Ledger, trial balance, chart of accounts) into required formats for Data
• Execute data upload workflows, ensuring completeness and integrity of datasets
• Apply standardized transformation logic and templates where applicable
• Data Quality, Validation & Reconciliation
• Perform data validation checks to identify completeness and accuracy issues
• Work with engagement teams to resolve discrepancies such as missing journals or inconsistencies in source data
• Support reconciliation processes prior to and following data uploads

Required Skills and Experience

• Degree educated preferably in Computer Science / related fields
• Data Processing & Tools
• Exposure to Databricks or similar data environments
• Basic knowledge of PySpark or Python for structured data transformation
• A strong working knowledge of Excel (SUM, COUNT, IF, VLOOKUP, ISERROR)
• Accounting / Audit Context
• Foundational understanding of financial data (General Ledger, Trial Balance, chart of accounts)
