As the Business Analyst, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, you will act as the conduit between Technology and multiple cross‑functional business teams. You will assist with our configuration and integration projects by eliciting and analyzing requirements, liaising between business and technical resources, and documenting business processes or systems and their integration. You must be able to quickly absorb new and different types of information, modify and adapt existing knowledge, and work in a changing and evolving environment to ensure successful project delivery using an agile scrum methodology.
Team Overview
The Digital Marketing team is a technology‑driven team focused on the Salesforce Marketing Cloud instance that supports our lifecycle marketing business teams. This team continually improves our Salesforce Marketing Cloud environments, primarily email marketing, to better suit our business’s evolving needs. We’re passionate about improving the guest experience through technology and strive to put the guests at the center of every decision we make.
Key Responsibilities
Gather requirements using effective business analysis techniques with the lifecycle marketing teams.
Create understandable visual representations to communicate complex concepts and models for various target audiences.
Translate business requirements into detailed and actionable specifications.
Collaborate and contribute as a team player, building strong, positive relationships with technology and business teams.
Document detailed user stories, process flows, system flows, and acceptance criteria for business process review, systems architecture, and quality assurance.
Identify and document business process changes and improvements.
Facilitate and manage stakeholder engagement.
Maintain process and systems documentation as business and systems evolve.
Assist the technology leadership team with other tasks and projects as required.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience as a business analyst, ideally on projects in the digital and omnichannel spheres.
Strong experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
Extensive experience working in an agile methodology.
Solid understanding of data models (ERDs).
Strong experience with Jira.
Experience with enterprise‑level system integrations and creating data mapping documentation for system integration projects.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels to explain and document concepts, business processes, systems, and requirements.
Strong organization and prioritization skills while managing multiple competing priorities and tight deadlines.
High level of analytical and critical thinking with strong troubleshooting skills.
Proactive in identifying root causes of issues and developing solutions.
Highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity.
Ability to balance autonomy and collaboration.
Quickly absorb new information, modify existing knowledge, and work in a changing environment to ensure successful project delivery.
Experience with different technologies and application integrations using service layers.

Compensation
The salary range for this role is CAD $82,000–CAD $108,000.
