Position: Computer Systems Technician 1 at NVSD
Support educational efficiency as an ICT Computer Systems Technician 1 with the North Vancouver School District. Engage in hands-on technical tasks, maintaining a variety of electronic equipment and network systems for educators and students.

This position requires skilled technical work in the upkeep and repair of computer systems and related devices within the School District. Your independence and ability to work closely with staff will be fundamental in achieving high standards of service. Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and repair computers and associated equipment

• Manage installations and alterations of electronic systems

• Monitor and maintain network functionality

• Collaborate with staff in technical projects

• Document procedures and repairs diligently

Requirements:

• Grade 12 education or equivalent required

• Two years of experience in a related technician role

• Knowledge of PC and Apple systems essential

• ITIL V4 or CompTIA A+ certification desired

• Proficient in the use of diagnostic equipment
