The POS Support Team is responsible for supporting, maintaining, and optimizing restaurant Point of Sale (POS) systems across multiple locations. This role serves as a primary point of contact for POS-related support, menu programming, system configuration and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will have experience with Oracle Micros Simphony and a strong understanding of restaurant operations, menu management, and technology support.

This position works closely with Operations, IT, and Restaurant Teams to ensure POS systems are accurate, reliable, and aligned with business requirements.

• Provide day-to-day support for Micros Simphony POS systems across multiple restaurant locations.
• Diagnose and resolve POS hardware, software and configuration.
• Escalate complex technical issues to vendors, IT teams, or third-party support providers as required.
• Monitor support requests and ensure timely resolution of incidents.
• Maintain POS system documentation and support procedures.

• Configure and maintain menu items, PLUs, major groups, family groups, modifiers, combo meals, pricing, and promotions within Simphony.
• Coordinate menu rollouts, seasonal promotions, and limited time offers.
• Verify pricing accuracy and system functionality before deployment.
• Conduct testing and quality assurance for programming changes.
• Support menu updates across multiple brands and concepts.

• Manage Simphony user accounts, permissions, and security settings.
• Configure reporting, revenue centers, employee roles, and operational settings.
• Maintain system standards and governance across all locations.
• Participate in POS upgrades, migrations, and system enhancements.

• Provide ongoing support to restaurant managers.
• Assist with onboarding new restaurants.
• Promote best practices for POS usage and data accuracy.
• Project Support
• Support new restaurant openings, acquisitions, and remodel projects.
• Participate in POS-related initiatives, testing, and system implementations.
• Gather operational requirements and recommend process improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system efficiency and reduce operational errors.

• Assist in validating sales reporting, menu data, and operational configurations.
• Investigate discrepancies related to menu programming and POS reporting.
• Support integration testing with loyalty, gift card, online ordering, and third-party delivery platforms.

• Experience supporting Point of Sale systems in a restaurant, hospitality, or retail environment.
• Experience with menu programming, pricing maintenance, and POS configuration.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

• Experience with Oracle Micros Simphony.
