Seaspan Hybrid Financial Systems Analyst

Become a key player at Seaspan Shipyards as a Financial Systems Analyst, specializing in Oracle EPM Cloud and ERP financial solutions. This position allows for a hybrid work setup post-onboarding.

As part of the BTS Financial Systems team, you will support the implementation and sustainment of Oracle technologies, working with financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. The ideal candidate possesses robust operational accounting experience and a thorough understanding of financial systems integration.

Your role will include conducting testing, facilitating business workshops, and collaborating with consultants to enhance efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Functionally analyze Oracle EPM and ERP integrations

• Produce accurate consolidated reporting and analysis

• Review and test system updates and patches

• Collaborate on improving SOPs and system controls

• Document resolutions for recurring user issues

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Technology

• Over 3 years in operational accounting roles

• At least 5 years with Oracle products

• Strong knowledge of Smart View and reporting tools

• Proven ability to work collaboratively with finance teams
