OverviewReporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the Supply Chain Coordinator supports daily supply chain activities, including purchase order management, vendor coordination, inventory tracking and logistics follow‑up, as well as analytics and reporting. This role predominantly supports Northland’s restaurant and hotel brands – Moxies, Denny’s Canada, Sandman Hotel Group, The Sutton Place Hotels, Chop Steakhouse & Bar, Shark Club, and The Tavern Collective.
The role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with multiple stakeholders.
- Monitor inventory levels, identify potential shortages, and elevate risks proactively.
- Support demand planning and forecasting by gathering and validating required data.
- Collaborate with Operations, Culinary, Procurement, and distribution partners to ensure supply continuity and identify substitutions, if necessary.
- Manage Order Guides to ensure locations have seamless access to the products required to run their day‑to‑day operations.
- Investigate and resolve supply chain issues such as shipment delays, incorrect quantities, and quality concerns.
- Coordinate smooth product transitions through diligent planning and execution.
- Assist in supplier performance monitoring and reporting (lead times, fill rates, discrepancies).
- Prepare regular reports for review (KPIs, inventory summaries, backorder status).
- Trigger, coordinate, and manage food recall processes, including executing communication protocols, tracking affected items, and ensuring proper documentation.
- Collaborate with Operations, Culinary, Finance, and Marketing to support business deliverables and objectives.
- Contribute to process improvements that will optimize supply chain efficiency.
- Post‑secondary education in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in supply chain, purchasing, logistics, or related roles.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Power
BI, and Crunchtime is an asset. - Strong organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight timelines.
- Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and process adherence.
