Position: Chemtrade Buyer Role
Step into a pivotal role as a Strategic Buyer with Chemtrade in North Vancouver, BC, focusing on optimizing procurement processes and supplier management. This on-site position aims to enhance plant operations through effective purchasing strategies.

Your primary responsibility will be securing materials and services crucial for production and maintenance. This means working directly with site leadership and ensuring supplier compliance while aligning with corporate standards. You’ll be integral in resolving procurement challenges and contributing to cost-saving initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage purchase requisitions and purchase orders effectively

• Source and purchase MRO parts and services

• Negotiate contracts and optimize vendor relationships

• Track order deliveries and ensure timely arrivals

• Support inventory management and reporting

Requirements:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred

• 5-10 years in high-volume manufacturing

• Experience with ERP systems, especially SAP

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
