ABOUT THE ROLE

Cardinal Concrete, a division of Amrize, is the leading supplier of ready-mix concrete in the Sea to Sky Corridor. We are currently seeking a Ready-Mix truck driver for the upcoming construction season to join our team. To be successful, you will thrive in a fast paced, customer oriented environment, and take pride in being responsible for safely operating and maintaining ready mix trucks.

WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH

• Delivering concrete to customers in a safe and timely manner.

• Up keep of truck appearance, assist with light maintenance around the Concrete plant

• Paperwork – circle checks, delivery ticket information.

• Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to health, safety, and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Education Required: High School Diploma or equivalent.

Required Work Experience: 3 - 5 years of experience in the trucking industry with a clean driving record.

Required Training/Certifications: Valid Class 1 or 3 driver’s license

Additional Requirements:

• Manual transmission experience

• Safety Mindset

• Team player

• Strong communicator

• Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Holcim approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
