Housekeeper, Maintenance​/Cleaning

Hours Wednesday to Sunday, 10:00pm-6:00am set schedule

Pay $21-$23/hr
* commensurate with experience

Supervisor Supervisor, Housekeeping

Position Summary:

The Housekeeper role involves ensuring the general cleanliness of our facility as needed while supporting the Facilities Team with general maintenance and possibly repairs of facility equipment where cross-training has been provided. They also provide cooperative assistance to all club departments and prioritize the meticulous appearance of the Club to maintain a safe and welcoming environment. Being a team player is essential in this role.

Responsibilities:

Ensure all facility spaces are cared for and inspected according to the high standards set by management

Main priority will be sanitizing and cleaning touch points, washrooms, player benches, bleachers, dressing rooms, ice rinks, hallways, glass, removing garbage, collecting towels around the facility and restocking consumables as required

Perform a variety of activities such as scrubbing floors, sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming and carpet cleaning as needed

Follow checklists of routine duties, inspect rooms and public spaces to ensure compliance with cleanliness, maintenance and set‑up standards, as well as to verify status

Assist Event Coordinator with event set up and tear down, as required, including moving chairs, furniture, tables, linen and club equipment.

Communicating with the Supervisor, Housekeeping via email and/or phone in a timely manner. Notify supervisor(s) of any facility damage, deficits or concerns

Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety, and be aware of all company‑related processes and practices

Additional duties as required

Requirements:

Demonstrated ability to safely lift 50 lbs.

Proven ability to work with minimal supervision and maintain a high level of performance

Good communication skills; fluent in both spoken and written English

Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to resolve complaints quickly and efficiently

Walking and standing are required; housekeepers must be able to maintain a well‑paced mobility to promptly reach other departments within the facility
