Salary/Wage Range or Industry Benchmark: 16 - 20 CAD Hourly CAD 16.00 20.00 HOUR

Assist with food-production workflow as assigned
Weigh and portion finished products
Seal packaged products
Apply labels and date coding accurately
Inspect packaged products for correct weight, seal and label
Organize finished products
Stock packaging supplies
Maintain cooler/freezer and production organization
Wash dishes, utensils, containers, pots and production equipment
Clean and sanitize food-contact surfaces
Sweep and mop production areas
Remove garbage/recycling and maintain waste areas
Complete inventory counts as assigned
Complete basic production/closing reports
Perform end-of-day cleaning and sanitation
Complete closing procedures

Comfortable with repetitive work
Strong attention to detail
Able to follow written procedures
Basic written communication and numeracy
Able to work independently once trained
Comfortable working in a commercial kitchen/food-manufacturing environment
Able to repeatedly lift up to 50 lb
Able to stand, bend, reach and perform repetitive movements for extended periods
Willing and able to perform substantial cleaning and dishwashing
