Salary range: CAD $74.48/hr – CAD $81.93/hr.

• Conduct comprehensive assessment of patients and clients, including diagnosis.
• Initiate treatment, manage health care, prescribe medications within statutory limits.
• Provide professional guidance to other health professionals and serve autonomously within interdisciplinary teams.
• Collaborate with clients to identify health trends and patterns.
• Develop and implement population-based, evidence-based strategies.
• Participate in peer, program, and self-review to evaluate service outcomes.
• Maintain professional development, competence, and active medical staff privileges.
• Report to an Operational Director and uphold quality assurance and patient safety responsibilities.

• Current registration as a Nurse Practitioner with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
• Prior experience as a Nurse Practitioner is an asset.
• Ability to perform full scope of NP duties and responsibilities.
• Capability to apply pharmacology, evidence‑based practice, and population health methods.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
• Physical ability to perform job duties.
• Ability to maintain active medical staff status and cross‑appointments per VCH rules.
